“All the Glenrustles met Rob and Leah around the same time, in the early to mid 90's. I met Rob through his Neil Young neon drum-kit jacket at a 7th St. Entry rock show, and Leah I met at the Uptown, at a rock show. We all travelled the same circles, crossing paths all the time, soon Rob and Leah hooked up, and we all enjoyed the Turf Club together. Their love is amazing. The friendship and inspiration they gave/give will endure forever.”
I knew Bob before he was 'Slim'. Then lost touch. Always followed him musically from Buzz Barker and the Atomic Bums to his solo work. I was never much into listening to live music at First Ave or bars so I didn't really get to watch him play and sing. I did see him open for Roseanne Cash once. Take care Bob! clayb
