Things were brighter when we were younger. We did a lot of dumb things. Now we're older and much wiser and time is slipping away. I try to blame it all on someone like that would make it ok. i try to make evrything allright, i tried to wish it away. Somethings hiding in the corner , got nothing nice to say. when it's over are you stronger or are you always afraid. i try to blame it......

Recognize the enemy to understand the plan Because if it fails will dig in with our hands And we still need eachother to get it done Keep smiling now, keep having fun And we still need eachother to get it done I am the trigger on your gun Together in love we will make our escape Leaving all the greedy fools in our wake And we still need eachother to get it done Keep smiling now, keep having fun And we still need eachother to get it done I am the moon, you are the sun Picture a moment when everything was so clear Make up in your mind that there is no sadness or fear Why can't you steer it home?

Wandering around as a young man at the bar Felt the warmth of that smile from afar You and yours always opened your hearts and took me under your wing And I know you'll be looking over my shoulder every time that I sing From the Midway out to Greenvale, songs were sung Prince, The 'Mats, and Frank Zappa...Neil Young Miss those nights the harvest moon shined full and bright, we had the world on a string And I know you'll be looking over my shoulder every time that I sing Now we gather around your posters and drawings and ticket stubs It has always been an honor to be part of your club You even paid a visit to the slender one to tell him he had to stay and keep fighting And I know you'll be looking over our shoulders every time that we sing And wherever you may wander I can be certain of one thing I know you'll be looking over my shoulder every time that I sing

Starlight on a Tuesday night. Anything you want to do, I'll leave it up to you. Don't be so mystified, if I ask you to ride, in a van with me riding down University Tonight at 12 o'clock on a Tuesday night at the Turf Club stage we'll rock AND roll! Tonight at 12 o'clock on the Turf Club stage, SPMC, the home of rock and roll! Hey Leah, can you get me a beer? Have you seen Rob around here? Had a plate of Raleigh's taco's. Hey Rich, what time do the Mammy's go on? Because I wanna do a bong before their first song.

"Wake up baby, now the dream is done It's faded in the daylight like a shadow in the sun In the sun Wake up baby, now the day is new You have seen the meaning of the sound surrounding you Surrounding you It's just black noise Uncertain words you've always heard That voice you listen to It's just black noise that destroys you In the basement of your days And in the shadows where you grew There was this black noise that kept coming through But in your dreams you've heard That not a word of it was true It was just black noise you were listening to Wake up baby, you have traveled far Now return to learn you can be happy where you are Where you are And as you are Uncertain words you've always heard That voice you listen to It's just black noise that destroys you Wake up baby, wake up, something new is coming through And there's no black noise to make you blue Black noise just makes you blue Black noise just makes you blue"

"(Bridge) Just a little song To help you on your way Just a little song Gonna get you through the day Just a little song When you get up out of bed Just a little song you can sing inside your head"

Standing on the shore a bird took flight Through the trees into the sky Over the water sparking blue and white Come on with me and we’ll see what’s right Last night I dreamt that you were there Sayin’ that worry’s everywhere Telling me not to watch the evening news We’re gonna go and see what’s true Newspapers say the end is nigh’ If we don’t repent, we’re all gonna die What could be their reasoning to say I won’t live with fear in me today Everybody’s saying... these times are bad But if you stop to pay attention You’ll see that everything’s alright Come on I’ll show you what is right Bird in the wind, moon in the sky Pebble in the water, sun shining so bright I’m going to love you every day and night I'm going to love you every day and night

I stay in a singular zone & I'm going it all alone & I'm staying in at home sweet home To to the rat-a-tat-tat of a trumped up poem I'm already shinin' I'm already shinin' I'm already my oh my I'm a lonely guy A little woodshed trump for another time Livin' it down like a drone Got the key to the shut-in door To be used at an opportune moment And I'm doing it all oh oh I'm already shinin' I'm already shinin' I'm already my oh my I'm a lonely guy Woodshed trump for another time I stay in a singular zone & I'm going it all alone & I'm staying in at home sweet home To to the rat-a-tat-tat of a trumped up poem I'm already shinin' I'm already shinin' I'm already my oh my I'm a lonely guy Woodshed trump Well, never mind

Bare naked as the day she was born. Her clothes are black but barely worn. On Mother's grave I'd have sworn. She had vampire fangs and devil's horns (chorus) Creature, creature Creature in the thigh high boots A super sexy she-thing in a spider webbed G-string Exotic as you'll ever find Holy Shit! first comes to mind (chorus) There's a couple things she likes to wear Most of the time she's completely bare Don't you know it's rude to stare? All good things they come in pairs (chorus)

"Well I’m wondering what, is my destiny, when will I finally start feelin’ free? Seems like I’m always on familiar ground, to the same place I started, circling back around Well nothing panned out, quite the way I’d hoped, everything looks perfect through a telescope, But when you get near, you just see all the flaws, and then you gotta reckon with the pain you caused I am ready for someone to tell me what this highway holds, Been too many days that I cannot see how the darkness goes, Wait a little, say you won’t, give up on me and knock on wood, Don’t believe me when I say that I can’t win, ‘cause I, still could Well the clouds are dark, and the sea is cold, before you steady your stride, another year unfolds, Something moves you forward, even when you’re tired, Try as they might, they couldn’t smother your fire I am wondering how much more this world can throw into my path, Luckily I figured out sometimes all you can do is laugh, Wait up for me, even if, it seems I can’t say nothing good, Don’t believe me when I say that I can’t win, ‘cause I, still could

Not so jumpy now Downtown No talk of concerns or fear We'll just hand over all our tax money And bitch about nothing but the cost of cable and beer Oh how easy it is sometimes To get lost in the party lines Are we cops of the free even over seas Or will this them and us mentality ruin our eyes This is a message from the malcontent We refuse to buy we're heaven sent With our gameface on We were a U.N. no show-bullies from the get go Then they hit us with this love it or leave it shit Like a dog in a cage trained to beg than sit If that's how it's gonna be I'm not calling this home Mine's a little voice Shit, I thought that was the point Born from a freedom never realized With manifest destiny kept like a sign from the skies All around the world They're ignored and pissed Staring back at us Like we're spoiled little kids And how have we proven them wrong With Hollywood, police states, embargos and pop radio songs Chorus We're the land of the free trial membership to crap Where adults can't find world powers on a map Where leaders run free with absconded power Where a flag costs more than you make in an hour Where I stand with so many but we're told we're alone Where I work for a living but I never feel at home

If I lived forever I would go insane Why should I live forever? So don't freeze me, just squeeze me Hang me from an apple seed If I lived forever I would go insane Why should I live forever? So don't grieve me, just please me and drown me like a chipmunk (chimp monk) in the sea.

Well I wake And I shake Get up and have a smoke I'm hearing voices though nobody spoke The cigarette's empty but I'll take one more toke And every day is a lifeboat This is it I come here to drink I come here to smoke And I come here to think I love my wife and I love my child But I'm staying here a little while Well the days grow old when there's nothing to do The kid's got a cold, so I've got one, too The bar that I frequent don't open 'til four I'll be there when they unlock the door This is it I come here to drink I come here to smoke And I come here to think I love my wife and I love my child But I'm staying here a little while Well the years go by and the cost is too dear Children once young soon disappear Skin once so soft turns slowly to leather As we sit at the bar Drinking together This is it I come here to drink I come here to smoke And I come here to think I love my wife and I love my child But I'm staying here a little while Yeah, I'm staying here a little while I'm staying here a little while
